Middle School Living History DocumentDownload theLiving History Document
The Pandemic of 2020, AKA known as Covid-19. What's it like to be living through a major historical event? We are all experiencing a range of reactions and emotions and it is important to process all of that. It's also helpful to be able to look back on a time in our lives and see how we've grown and the lessons we've learned—or not.

Journaling is a great way to not only record this time in your life—not just the facts of the Covid-19 event—but the way it has impacted you, your family, your life—all the things that you are experiencing, feeling and noticing. It's living history. And you may find that it is also a helpful way to work through some of your emotions and reactions.

I found a google slide document that may help if you would like to try this in your spare time but not sure where or how to start. It's sort of a video log but could also serve as a reflective question guide for those who just want to go old school and write in a journal!

Stress Less:
Try one or more of these simple exercises. When choosing an exercise, don't do it based on what it says: some sound weird or funny—and those might end up being the perfect one for you! The most important thing is to try, learn, and repeat as often as you can until they become routine. You may find that stress management is possible, every day, any time, and anywhere! Click on the slide show above and start lessening your stress.
