 Bullying

Neuse Charter School has a "no tolerance" bullying policy. If bullying behavior is reported, the notified adult will intervene immediately. Each student at Neuse Charter School has a right to:
  • Learn in a safe and friendly place
  • Be treated with respect
  • Receive the help and support of caring adults

WHAT DOES A BULLYING BEHAVIOR LOOK LIKE?
There is a difference between bullying behavior and being unkind. Bullying behavior typically involves:

R- Repeated: The undesired behavior is continuous and repeated on a regular basis.
I- Intentional: The student who bullies acts purposefully, with the intent to hurt the victim.
P- Power based: The student who bullies is usually trying to gain power over others. 

Please do not ignore bullying behavior! If bullying behavior is consistent and a threat to another student, you may complete the confidential Report Bullying Form below and a staff member will investigate the concerns.
