Mrs. Rhodes grew up in Johnston County and is a proud graduate of Johnston County Middle College. She is excited to begin her first year at Neuse Charter School as a School Counselor.
Mrs. Rhodes earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from East Carolina University before continuing her education to earn her Master of Social Work from East Carolina University. Before transitioning into school counseling, she worked in the healthcare setting as a medical social work case manager, supporting patients and their families through many of life's challenges and transitions. Coming from a family of educators, Mrs. Rhodes has a passion for helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. She believes every student should feel empowered to reach their goals while developing the confidence and life skills needed to be successful both inside and outside the classroom. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where every student feels valued, encouraged, and capable of achieving their full potential. Mrs. Rhodes lives in Four Oaks, North Carolina, with her husband and their two young children—a son and a daughter—who certainly keep her busy! When she's not at school, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling (especially to Disney!), cooking and baking for loved ones, and staying active through exercise. Mrs. Rhodes is thrilled to join the Neuse Charter family and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff throughout the school year.
